How Well Do You Know NFL Offenses?

Offense in today's NFL is far, far removed from the good old days of "three yards and a cloud of dust." From Don Coryell and Bill Walsh all the way up to new Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly and Kansas City Chiefs offensive consultant Chris Ault, the NFL has spent 80 years refining—and re-defining—offense.

All of the innovations in the past five years or so, from the Wildcat to the zone read, have really pushed the boundaries of most football fans' knowledge. Often, fans don't even have time to learn a new formation or alignment before their team is on to something else.

Further, the NFL is more of a copycat league than ever, so every offseason seems to be spent with every team in the NFL trying to ape the latest offensive wrinkle—and every defense trying to stop it.

How well have you been keeping up with the Joneses (or, perhaps, the Harbaughs)? Take this quiz, and test your offensive knowledge!

5 Biggest Takeaways from Baltimore Ravens' Preseason Opener

The Baltimore Ravens opened up the preseason with a 44-16 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. For the most part, there were many positive takeaways for the defending Super Bowl Champions. Joe Flacco looked like himself after being named Super Bowl MVP and signing a mega-contract. Meanwhile the first team defense looked bigger, faster and stronger compared to a year ago. The Ravens will look to build off last week's win, as the Atlanta Falcons come to M&T Bank Stadium Thursday night. But first, lets take a look back at the five biggest takeaways from the Ravens’ preseason opener. However, with the good comes the bad. The Ravens’ wide receivers looked young and inexperienced, with the exception of Torrey Smith. And while the Ravens were able to avoid any serious injuries, WR Deonte Thompson and RB Bernard Pierce were both banged up. It's hard to say which is more fascinating

It's hard to say which is more fascinating, Jasmine's fictional journey or Blanchett's dramatic journey in the film, between the two Jasmines. Look at Jasmine in her glory: her skin virtually glows, her smile is glorious, and her ethereal, high-class beauty jumps off the screen. But when Jasmine's down, Blanchett's eyes are red and puffy, her skin pale and blotchy. Her posture changes. Sweat stains soak the same silk dress that once looked so smashing. As always, Allen draws strong supporting performances from wholesale bears football jerseys. The comic Andrew Dice Clay is an especially fun surprise as Ginger's embittered ex, and Louis C.K. is deviously sweet as Ginger's suitor. Peter Sarsgaard strikes the right tone as a wealthy diplomat who just might be Jasmine's savior. Is "Blue Jasmine" an Occupy Wall Street-era morality tale, or just a deeply absorbing character study? Either way, Allen has given us a whole lot to chew on and a flawed heroine we'll remember for a long time. "Blue Jasmine," a Sony Pictures Classics release, is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for "mature thematic material, language and sexual content." Running time: 98 minutes. Aaron Rodgers' wallet should be lighter after Ryan Braun suspension

Aaron Rodgers' wallet should be lighter after Ryan Braun suspension Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers should be several million dollars poorer today. And some guy named Todd Sutton should be that much richer. All because Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun was suspended for 65 games Monday for multiple violations of baseball's drug policy. And because of a now-deleted bet between Rodgers and Sutton last year. Back in February 2012, Braun had a 50-game suspension for basically the same charges overturned, with Titans Jerseys For Men panel finding concerns with the way the player's urine samples were handled. There's a widespread belief that Braun got off on a technicality.
